Dear All,

While I continue to whittle away on two new projects (I do mean whittle, by the way--everything I write is initially chiseled onto pieces of driftwood that I collect off the remote, pebbly beaches of my native New England--it's just the only way I feel comfortable composing), I wanted to let you know about my small contribution to something new and awesome: 30 Year Low, the last and latest and greatest album by my friends in the band the Mendoza Line. I was honored to pen the liner notes for this outstanding collection of rock and roll, and I highly recommend it. Here are some samples. Check it out.

Cheers,
Owen

P.S. Many of you have probably been wondering whether or not the world has stopped producing cool stuff altogether. Fear not, I have a new Pick-of-the-Month.
