Dear All,
Just wanted to give a quick heads up that the next issue of One Story is a contribution by yours truly, entitled "The Cure." I don't want to give away too much, but it's a love story, it features a no-eyed cat, adventures in construction, a difficult mother, and is to some degree inspired by the great, pallid band that shares the same name.
If you're not familiar with One Story, it's exactly what it sounds like--one story at a time, presented in an elegant, booklet format. Past issues have featured John Hodgman, Gregory Maguire, Jim Hanas, Scott Snyder, Darin Strauss, Karl Iagnemma, Patrick Ryan, Roxana Robinson, Kelly Link, Dani Shapiro, Kate Walbert, and Arthur Bradford, among others. I'm a long-time subscriber, and a big fan of the journal, so this is a real pleasure.
